Is NaClO4 an acid or base or salt?
The short answer is – NaClO4 is neither an acid nor a base. It is a neutral salt. NaClO4 is a salt made from the neutralization of strong acid (HClO4) and strong base (NaOH). Its pH value is equal to 7.
