1. IAF Group X & Y

This exam is held twice a year, first in March and the other is in September.

It is conducted for the selection of airmen in the Indian Air Force. Airmen are personnel rank employees in the Indian air force.

What is Group X & Y?

Group X:

  • Group X is included in the technical cadre.
  • Physics and math are compulsory in class 10+2 to fulfill the eligibility criteria of this exam.

Group Y:

  • Group Y is included in the non-technical cadre.

Salary of Airmen in Both Groups

It is an entry-level exam for becoming a member of the subordinate judiciary.

Only Law graduates are eligible for this exam.

  2. Shorthand skill test
Shorthand skill test has different criteria for Grade C and Grade D.

  • Grade D candidates have required 80 wpm( Word per minute) in shorthand.

9. SSC JE(Junior engineer)

This exam is conducted for recruiting candidates for various posts of junior engineers in the respective department.

It is relatively easy because a limited number of candidates can apply for this exam. After qualifying for this exam candidates have to go on probation period for two years.

This exam is conducted under the Group B Non-Gazetted class of the Central Government work.
